Vietnam earned around 2.4 billion USD from rice exports in the first nine months of this year, up nearly 90 percent against last year thanks to the price hike in the global market, reported the Trade Information Centre.

Cho đến thời điểm hiện tại, vẫn đang có nhiều khuyến nghị Chính phủ tiếp tục chính sách thắt chặt tiền tệ để kiềm chế lạm phát. Hiển nhiên, căn cứ để đưa ra khuyến nghị đó chính là nhận định khả năng lạm phát vẫn có thể tăng mạnh trở lại trong thời gian tới, và điều đó đương nhiên cũng đồng nghĩa với việc chúng ta sẽ phải tiếp tục chấp nhận tốc độ tăng trưởng kinh tế thấp. Tuy nhiên, với những động thái hiện nay, có lẽ đây là “sự hi sinh” không cần thiết.

On September 25, banks took the first steps to slash lending interest rates as the central bank decided to keep the basic interest rate at 14% per annum and raise interest rates on compulsory reserves from 3.6% to 5%.
