Viet Nam will become one of the third-largest aviation markets in the world, according to Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao (United Morning) newspaper.

The Government has decided to extend the maximum lending period to 36 months, applicable to export credits provided to processed coffee and cashew nut on the condition that indebted enterprises suffered losses in 2011 and 2012 and failed to pay debts as per contract terms signed with the Vietnam Development Bank from October 18, 2013.

Tại buổi họp báo hôm 10-10-2013, Thứ trưởng Bộ Tài chính Vũ Thị Mai cho biết mọi năm, thu ngân sách chín tháng thường đạt 80% dự toán, năm nay chỉ đạt 66,6%. Dự báo khả năng thu ngân sách năm 2013 không đạt được như dự toán. Trong khi đó, theo bà Mai, chi ngân sách vẫn không ngừng tăng, đặc biệt là chi phát triển sự nghiệp, chi quản lý hành chính. Có lẽ đã đến lúc cần một cuộc đại phẫu với ngân sách nhà nước.
