Dự thảo hai văn bản pháp lý quan trọng liên quan đến quản lý hoạt động đầu tư nước ngoài sẽ được Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư đưa ra lấy ý kiến các bộ ngành liên quan trong tuần này, một động thái cho thấy các cơ quan chức năng sẽ thắt chặt quản lý bằng “hậu kiểm”.

Báo cáo tình hình kinh tế – xã hội năm 2012 trước Uỷ ban thường vụ Quốc hội ngày 16.10, Chính phủ hai lần thừa nhận: “tham nhũng còn diễn biến phức tạp”, “ảnh hưởng xấu đến việc thực hiện các mục tiêu kế hoạch phát triển kinh tế xã hội đã đề ra”. Còn uỷ ban Kinh tế của Quốc hội thì cho rằng đang có “những dấu hiệu lo ngại về sự trì trệ nền kinh tế”, tiến trình tái cơ cấu nền kinh tế đến nay chưa mang lại kết quả rõ nét, tình hình tham nhũng tiếp tục diễn biến nghiêm trọng, phức tạp trên các lĩnh vực đất đai, sử dụng vốn và tài sản nhà nước gây bức xúc trong dư luận xã hội, làm giảm lòng tin của cán bộ, nhân dân.
