Theo Báo cáo của Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư, các nhà tài trợ quốc tế đã cam kết hỗ trợ phát triển chính thức (ODA) cho Việt Nam lên tới 80 tỷ USD trong giai đoạn 1993-2012, góp phần đưa Việt Nam gia nhập nhóm các nước có mức thu nhập trung bình thấp.
