Thu nhập không chỉ là tiền đề của sức mua có khả năng thanh toán, tức là một yếu tố của tiêu dùng, một yếu tố đầu ra, mà còn là giá cả của sức lao động, tức là một yếu tố của sản xuất, một yếu tố đầu vào. Vì vậy thu nhập bình quân một lao động là thông tin rất quan trọng cho các nhà hoạch định chính sách vĩ mô, các nhà đầu tư và quản lý sản xuất kinh doanh. Qua các thông tin do Tổng cục Thống kê công bố, có thể rút ra một số nhận xét đáng lưu ý về thu nhập của lao động trong khu vực Nhà nước.

TP - Ngày 3/7/2006, Tổng cục Thống kê công bố kết quả điều tra về tình hình KT-XH 6 tháng đầu năm 2006. Theo đó, KT-XH nước ta vẫn phát triển ổn định, tốc độ tăng tưởng kinh tế đạt khá, 7,5%.
