Vietnamese Businesses in the Fifth Year of WTO Membership (28/3)

Vietnam has been a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) for five years, with Vietnamese businesses increasing their competitiveness, rather than have been 'crushed' by foreign rivals. However, they still need to strengthen their competitiveness, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Cam Tu said at a scientific conference entitled, "Vietnamese Business Competitiveness after Five Years of WTO Membership", which was held on March 9 by the Communist Journal, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation.

Tín hiệu khả quan rõ nét từ CPI tháng 3 (28/3)

Theo công bố của Tổng cục Thống kê, CPI tháng 3 so với tháng 2 (còn gọi là tháng sau so với tháng trước) tăng 0,16%; so với cuối năm trước (sau 3 tháng) tăng 2,55%; so với cùng kỳ năm trước (theo thông lệ quốc tế) tăng 14,15%.

It's still unclear if Vietnam will license more IZ projects (27/3)

Some local authorities have said they would consider licensing the industrial zone (IZ) projects in the IZ system development program approved by the government. Meanwhile, other localities still do not know if they can license more IZs, because the Prime Minister has released the Instruction 07, requesting to halt the establishment of new IZs.
