Enterprise resource planning solutions for business success

This activity is under the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between VNCI and VCCI last December to implement the national project No.191 on information and communication technology (ICT) application for small and medium-size enterprises competitiveness in order to increase the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the global economic integration process.
ERP software is currently a topic of great interest to the professional and business community. Entrepreneurs and business consultants have several questions on ERP solutions, the implementation of ERP in Vietnam, the effects of ERP on business’s processes.
Speaking at the meeting, Bob Webster, Project Director of VNCI said that VCCI and VNCI will take the greatest interests in ERP solutions for Vietnamese businesses.
Representatives of ERP vendors such as Oracle, Pythis, Pricewaterhouse cooper, EDT, Vietsoftware, and a number of Vietnamese enterprises attended the workshop. The workshop provided a forum for businesses who have implemented or have been implementing ERP to share their experiences.
On the sideline of the workshop, an ERP solution showcase from local vendors and potential customers was also organized.
VNCI is a five year USAID-funded economic growth project to improve the competitiveness of SMEs in Vietnam. It is managed by Development Alternatives, Ins. (DAI) of Bethesda, MD, the US.
