Vietnam firms up ODA management (10/4)

The instruction, released by the Government Office, aims to ensure the effectiveness of ODA disbursement as well as to prepare for the mid-term Consultative Group Meeting in June.
Under the instruction, the Finance Ministry, and Planning and Investment Ministry have to examine the mechanisms of ODA allocation, usage, management and control.
It also urges the ministries to learn what it can from the controversal corruption case that shook the nation at Project Management Unit 18 under the Ministry of Transport.
The ministries were asked to report to the Prime Minister by late May at the latest.
