550 SOEs to be equitised in 2007

Viet Nam will continue to equitise another batch of 550 state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in 2007 in an effort to speed up the rearranging and reforming process of SOEs.
This year’s targeted SOEs include some corporations, state commercial banks as well as public service and insurance companies.
During the course of the year, equitised SOEs will also be listed on the stock market, while all state-owned corporations will be audited.
