VN-Index bounces back, reaching 1,141.59 points

Ho Chi Minh City's stock market index, VN- Index, bounced back on the morning of Mar. 8, increasing 9.36 points, or 0.83 percent, to 1,141.59.
Of the total 109 shares listed at the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Trading Centre, 79 shares experienced a price hike, nine saw their prices remain unchanged and 21 others suffered declining prices.
The prices of some blue chips, such as SFI, FPT and DHG, continued dropping while those of BMC, DRC, SAM and ABT registered the sharpest rises of all.
The same day, the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre's index, HaSTC-Index, rose 4.97 points to 450.77.
