Local software firm signs outsourcing deal with US partner (16/10)

Addressing the signing ceremony between the Da Nang Software Park (Softech) and MagRabbit Inc. on Friday, Softech Director Nguyen Tan Thuy said the partnership would help IT and software products outsourced by Softech penetrate the US market. “We are extremely excited about the launch of our partnership with Softech, one of Vietnam's leading providers of information technology and business process outsourcing services,” said MagRabbit Chairman and CEO Tommy Hodinh in a press release last month. Representatives from VinaCapital and IBM Asia said they would provide financial and technological assistance to the Softech-MagRabbit joint venture. Pham Kim Son, head of the municipal Department of Posts and Telematics, also confirmed the local authority would create favorable conditions for the two partners. MagRabbit, Inc., founded in 1990, is a supply chain management services provider in customized logistics, staffing, IT and business process outsourcing services. Companies such as Dell Corporation, IBM, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Toyota and Buffalo Technology have trusted MagRabbit for their critical supply chain needs. |
