Of this figure, the mining industry increased 1.8 percent, processing industry surged 7.9 percent, electricity production and distribution soared 11.7 percent, and water supply and sewage treatment climbed 9.9 percent due to a large volume of sewage which must be treated during Tet holiday.
Some industries with higher indexes than the same period last year were battery production (up 107.1 percent), electricity equipment production (51.3 percent), device production (up 45.9 percent), fertilizer production (up 43.3 percent), footwear production (up 35.9 percent), and communication device production (up 26.4 percent).Source: CPV
