Vietnam sees trade gap of US$2.13 billion with ASEAN (21/10)

In September, Vietnam exports touched nearly $1.53 billion to countries in ASEAN, down 4.3 percent compared to that in August. However, in the first nine months, the country’s exports to this region reached $13.72 billion, an increase of 11 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the country imported $1.8 billion from ASEAN countries last month, raising first-nine-month imports to $15.85 billion.

According to statistics, among countries in ASEAN, Malaysia was the biggest trade partner of Vietnam, followed by Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia.
