Import turnover reached US $20.8 billion in 2014, said Do Thang Hai, deputy Minister of Industry and Trade on March 3. This is a steady increase of 17 percent over the same period last year.
Export turnover reached US $21 billion in the first two months this year, an increase of 12.3 percent since the same period last year.
Garment and textile companies are experiencing the highest increase of 30 percent. Most businesses have stable foreign clients.
