PM chairs meeting on SOE restructuring

As of July this year, the PM approved 20 restructuring plans of State groups and corporations. Some 76 businesses were arranged, of which 55 were privatized.
Around VND2,975 billion of capital were divested, three times higher than in 2013.
PM Nguyen Tan Dung asked ministries, agencies and State groups, corporations to accelerate business activities in accordance with restructuring activities and consolidate their staff.
Emphasizing on restructuring as the key political mission, PM Dung asked ministries, agencies and localities to issue policies and mechanisms to overcome difficulties and obstacles arising from the restructuring process.
