VN to build 11 hi-tech agricultural parks by 2020 (29/10)

The high- tech parks are the Thai Nguyen HTAP in the north-eastern region, Son La NTAP in the north-west, the Hai Phong and Nam Dinh HTAPs in the Red River Delta, the Thanh Hoa and Nghe An HTAPs in the north-central region, the Phu Yen HTAP on the central coast, the Lam Dong HTAP in the Central Highlands, the Binh Duong HTAP in the south-east, and the Hau Giang and Tien Giang HTAPs in the Mekong Delta.
According to the tentative master plan for their development, at least 60 percent of every park must be earmarked for research and experimentation and display of agricultural models that use high technologies.
The parks will undertake scientific and technological activities, train human resources, and innovate agricultural technologies.-VNA
