Lam announced the figures at a recent press conference in Ha Noi.
According to Mr. Lam, GDP expanded by 5.06% in Q1; 5.34% in Q2; 6.07% in Q3; and 6.96% in Q4.
The agro-forestry and fishery sector's growth went up 2.6%. The industrial production index jumped 7.6% against the previous year. The processing and manufacturing industry saw a year-on-year growth rise of 8.7%.
