
VN encourages Japanese inflow into agro-forestry-fisheries (13/03)

At a reception, Mr. Hai spoke highly of the expanding cooperation between the Japanese prefecture and the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and several Vietnamese provinces over the past time.
The Deputy PM asked the Japanese prefecture to send experts to help Viet Nam with fishing, preserving and processing high-quality aquatic products.
For his part, Governor Yoshinobu Nisaka said his prefecture is strong in agriculture and seafood development, adding that his ongoing visit to Viet Nam is to discuss cooperation opportunities in the fields with central and northern provinces of Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa and Binh Dinh.
The Wakayama Governor expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Government will create all possible conditions for the two sides to reach new cooperation deals in agriculture, tourism, and trade, citing as example the import of agricultural material from Viet Nam and the transfer of processing technology and production models.
