Agriculture, aquatic, forestry exports exceed US$9 bln (04/5)

Agricultural products contributed US$4.47 billion, down 6%.
Only cashew witnessed sharp increases in terms of volume and value of 36.3% and 14.1%, obtaining US$635 billion from 85,000 tons, respectively.
The nation earned US$ 54 million, US$513 million and US$849 million from exporting tea, peppercorn and rice, respectively.
The export turnover of aquatic products saw a decrease of 16.6%, reaching US$1.87 billion while the exports of forestry products achieved US$2.18 billion, up 6.7%.
