Businesses satisfy with administrative reform in tax (12/8)

The information was announced in a report on business satisfaction with the reform of taxation procedures in 2014 of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the General Department of Taxation (GDT) and the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation. 

The report collected comments from 2,500 enterprises in 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

According to the report, of every two enterprises asked, one said it found easy access to legal documents and tax policy.

Up tp 58% of the asked enterprises said that information about administrative procedures on tax are understandable.

Evaluating the effects of changes in tax policies on the business environment over the recent five years, 92% of the enterprises revealed that tax laws have made positive changes.

Reforms on right track

The result has manifested that tax reforms are on the right track and have gained success, said Chairman of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc.

He hoped that with high determination, the tax sector will take the lead in administrative procedures reform in Viet Nam, contributing to facilitating production and manufacturing in Viet Nam.

The tax sector has so far reduced 420 out of 573 hours needed to pay tax, exceeding the Government target of cutting the time under 121.1 hours in 2015.
