Sáng 15-8-2006, tại TP Cần Thơ, Trung ương Hội Nông dân Việt Nam đã tổ chức hội thảo khoa học với chủ đề “Nông dân làm gì để hội nhập kinh tế?”. Nhiều vấn đề được đặt ra từ hội thảo, nhưng tựu trung vấn đề lớn nhất đến thời điểm này là nông dân ĐBSCL vẫn chưa biết phải làm gì, trong khi hội nhập đã cận kề.

New Intellectual Property Law Issued

A new federal law has recently been issued in Vietnam. It was the first time the Intellectual Property regular is provided in a separate law, after a long times which was stipulated in Civil Code or other legal documents. The new law will be published in the Official Gazette on the scheduled date, and became effective immediately from the date of publication (July 2006). A quick view of the new law shows that it mainly strengthens and broadens the rights of Intellectual property proprietors, particularly the owners of other Industrial Property Objects. In that, they are classified in three groups:

Ngày 17/8, Kiểm toán Nhà nước lần đầu tiên báo cáo công khai kết quả kiểm toán năm với các báo cáo quyết toán ngân sách của 30 tỉnh, thành (chiếm 28,3% số thu và 40,5% chi ngân sách địa phương); 11 bộ, ngành trung ương (chiếm 22,4% chi ngân sách Trung ương); 9 dự án, chương trình trọng điểm; báo cáo tài chính của 19 tổng công ty, doanh nghiệp Nhà nước và tổ chức tài chính ngân hàng.
