It is quite possible for Viet Nam to join the World Trade Organisation (WTO) by the end of this year if the country prepares well for the multi-lateral round of negotiations which will take place in July, said Trade Minister Truong Dinh Tuyen.

EC imposes 17pct anti-dumping tax on Vietnamese footwear (16/05)

EC has decided to impose an anti dumping tax of nearly 20 percent on Chinese footwear and 17 percent on Vietnamese footwear. The taxes do not apply to sports and children shoes.
